I haven't been following the details at all. But I'm guessing he's giving healthcare to those who are below or near poverty levels at the expense of those who are above and well above poverty level. How he's doing it is where all the details come in.

Do you think your level of healthcare will suffer?

Apparently, VA has joined a bunch of other states suing the federal gov't on constitutional grounds over this.

I should probably pay more attention to what's going on and get emotional like everybody else. But I'm off in my own world.

Two words, " we're fucked".

This is just the beginning.

My mom owns a medical billing business and manages the billing for a local hospital, so I defer to her when it comes to what this will do to our health care. She has to deal with the doctors, insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, all of them.

So, after talking with her about it through this whole process, it boils down to exactly what Max said. We're fucked.

I wish Ga would sue, but the damn idiots in the Atl are against it. Atl sucks more and more every day. We should just package it up and sell it to Florida or Alabamie...

Talking to local Doctors:

Less and less people going into Medicine.

Ill never have my own practice.

My income has already been cut 22%.

Less Doctors, more patients, longer waits, worse care.

Now the illegal immigration push will add how many millions to vote for the Dem who gets them citizenship and healthcare, We'll never get them out of office.

Get ready for a possible VAT tax, not instead of income tax but along with it.

I feel sorry fo the kids today.

I heard a story on the radio this morning that they have developed a new hospital gown in Britain. It closes down the side and I guess it's an overall improvement in comfort and modesty.

The Labour Party is saying that if they win the elections, they will make sure those gowns get put into the hospitals.

This is what we're headed for: hospital amenities becoming part of a political platform.

It's disgusting.

I've been stocked up since since Y2K.

I should still be stocked up through the end of the Mayan calendar.

What Max said, and from what I heard briefly it's on a rising rate we're fucked. I believe that more and more will get fucked as it progressively eeks it's way up the food chain.

I don't get it. We blow the taxpayers money on a fake war and it's ok. We blow taxpayers money on healthcare and it's a bad thing. Why all the hypocrisy?

Sadam needed to be taken out. He was a pesky gnat that would never go away....we stayed way too long.

Wars end, this healthcare BS is here forever.

Keep drinking the Kool Aid, Omni.

This is far from being about health care. Do you really think ANY of the morons in Washington give 2 shits about any of us? Ever wonder why the new Dictator president and the writers of this bill are exempt from it?

Power and control, the ultimate "The man is keeping me down" only now it is the whole population and not just individuals.

I'm sure that even the people that have been to India think this health care bill is a disaster.

I know someone in the medical field who thinks this is a GOOD plan.

From what I can tell, since I am already covered by my employer's health insurance, nothing changes for me personally. And since I'm your typical average person, that's really all I care about in the here and now. Time will tell if this reform is as radical as people say it will be. The figures I heard on NPR say we'll go from covering 83% of the population to 95% with this bill. That doesn't seem all that radical to me.

See, this is part of the problem in my opinion. Too many people have the attitude "Well, it doesn't effect me so it's not that bad at all." It's how California gets all these Sin Taxes passed - "Well I don't smoke so it won't affect me, plus I hate smokers so hell yeah I'm voting for it." For far too many people that is "all they care about." I consider that line of reason reckless and irresponsible.

There are countless reasons why this bill goes against the document this nation was founded on, and the fact that our own government would even think to START such a process proves that we have traveled way too far down the wrong roads.

Time will tell how radical it is? THIS is the bellwether that time has delivered. Time HAS told, and this is the proof.

I wrote Jim Marshall an email to thank him for listening to his constituents and voting No. I was very interested in the HC reform before it was voted upon, but now it is done and I see no reality in repealing it any time soon. So my apathy is more of a realism that says I have more pressing personal concerns rather than abstract billion dollar .gov programs that nobody seems to really know what will happen with.

Well then my previous statements don't apply to you, but sadly they still apply to many, many voting Americans.

I envy your pragmatism, I've been trying to find mine as well and failing.
