Post Re: I quenched the new truck bug
Gosh we've had a truck in the family for so long.... Well Tahoes, Blazers, Vans I wouldn't know what to do with a lil car full time. Dad and Grandpop always had/have a truck as one of their vehicles so there was always the loaner before.

Last car I drove regular was my 73 Camaro, then the youngest daughters Mitsui Eclipse for a couple weeks while she learned to drive the stick. May I mention NEVER purchase a Mitsubitchie as they are on the lowset pole in my opinion.

P.S. I love not having a trailer, can't/ won't haul Some things in the truck bed, or i use that excuse when I want to. ;) FIL wants me to bring MY Mower to his place to cut grass, all 4acres (about that much is what he cuts the other 12 are wild) of it. FUCK THAT, I can't get mine out there, so his Other SIL take his out there!

Well, I'm getting my CTS fixed. With these rains I have to keep it under the shed or garage. Right now it's in the garage because the Boss's friend brought his boat over and is using our shed for storage. Yeah, the Boss told him he could until he built his shed or he purchased another boat.

I'll just get the CTS fixed and drive it until I can figure out what kind of truck I want. I want to look around for a good bit and not hump on the first truck I see. :teehee:

:lol2: I just told Mikey to send me a boat in his "It'$ hot" thread! :green: Yeah, we might should have kept the Black Plague.

Actually, we have had 6 inches of rain in two days and not the first mud puddle except for the ruts in our drive up to the house and it ain't much. Yep, we were :quote2: that :quote2: dry.

Your boat? I'll have to tell you all the funny story this morning. My husband is pretty darn funny at times---especially when he is upset and tired. He says the darnedest things. :green:

I've thought about selling my boat for a year or so now....I seem to not have the burning desire to go fishing any more and it sits in the garage most of the time....I'm using the boat less than 6 times a year

You sound like the Boss. He says, "If you don't use it, sell it or get rid of it." He was really commenting on our neighbor's little fishing aluminum boat. He has it under his oak tree. And all the junk around it is a sore eye to us.

Like the old saying goes, if you can ride it, fish off it or screw it, you are better off renting it rather than buying it.

It was. I grinned. :green: It's pretty much the same thing the Boss says.

Btw, still no boat. I don't think he is in a hurry.

Congrats, barely broken in. Great feeling, isnt it?

She wont buy, will only lease so:
Lease was up on our Kia Sorento and we leased a new one two weeks ago. Worked out a sign and drive, no money down, almost the same payments as the last one. Insurance though :2guns:
Unfortunately we both seem to have liked the old Kia over the new one.

Went with Hagerty Insurance on the Trans Am. 15 years old and it qualifies as a classic I guess. 1/2 of Geico and more coverage but we lost the 2 car discount with Geico. Fucked again.

Sorry if I hijacked your thread but posts here are so rare I think it is only the 2 of us sometimes, Rabid and Zoomer excepted. :green:
