Post remove factory undercoating from 1970 C20???
Travis? Ever done this? I need to get the old stuff off so I can apply new undercoating. Read on a site to use torch on lowest setting and a small scrape blade...
Got my short frame ready along with new cab mount bushings... just need to retreat the bottom of cab...

Not gonna make my November 8 2014 deadline to have this truck finished. :(: not by a long shot.

I've done it once. Not an enviable job. Cosmoline remover, or mineral spirits and low heat. Oh, and a few cases of beer. I suggest the help of at least 4 friends. Wait, make that 12 cases of beer. :)

It actually came off pretty easily. 2" scraper. Went back with por15.

Since you guys love making fun of me, my truck is actually on jack stands right now. Putting 2.5" drop spindles on the front with 1" drop springs. Got it all done except tie rod ends, and tires. Changed from 6 lug to 5 and my 5 lug wheels have rotten tires. Dont want to buy tires yet but gonna have to.

Picking up a 1970 Kingswood wagon right after Christmas to rob the 402. Will freshen it up and throw it in front of my TH400. Got the whole car for $500. Crusher will give most of that back to me.
