I like a few of the things he says but too few. He is not for this day and age.

No way in hell I would ever consider voting for him. A 3rd party run by him is my biggest fear in that it will ensure BHO a second term. I think Gary Johnson is making noises along these lines also.

I fear that Any other candidate that's not strong enough to run all the way with it is going to just dilute the one chance we do have of removing Bambam. RP isn't strong enough and will just take votes away.
As happened locally, the Black CHURCHES will utilize Their vans/bus's and pulpit to promote the Black candidate. Happened when Jack Crackhead was stealing them blind, happened just recently when Lucas regained his Senate seat. Lucas opponent was a Black female and had done Wonderful for her short term; so Lucas and crew portrayed her as an Uncle Tom giving away what's "theirs" and attempting to "dilute the Black voter strength". She lost...

Here's that pic for you Max, and I added a couple others to it.

Post Re: Okay, let's talk...
I wouldn't have voted for RP anyway just for fact it is a waste of a vote. I just wonder what you all think now(with the hand we are dealt). I'm not one to talk bad about a President. And I like to give each one a chance in four years. Well, I didn't vote for Obama the first time. And I didn't vote for Clinton the second time. Yeah, I've lost a good bit on my voting since I've been voting (1978). So, I'm guessing I might be in the same boat like I was during the second term with Clinton.

But, I have no choice AGAIN. I have to go with Mitt. Whether I lose again or not. Anyway, I guess I'm the only one with some balls to say WHO I'm going with. Good or bad. That's where I stand.

So, keep your cards close to your heart boys. I'm throwing my hand out there early.

I keep waiting for the GOP to impress me with their presidential nominee. John McCain almost had me until his VP pick started opening her mouth and spewing forth nonsense. Mitt... ugh. What a joke. Blather on about leadership, he hasn't got an ounce of leadership in his body these days. The old Mitt maybe, the Massachusetts governor Mitt... but this more Tea Party friendly new Mitt is not a leader. He's saying whatever it takes to be the nominee. Talk about a flip flopper. His speech at the convention failed miserably at telling me his actual plans for spending/cutting, tax reform, and foreign policy.

I'll see what Obama can come up with. I have a feeling he can come up with something more substantial than Romney at this point.

No choice for me, LA. (But you probably already knew that)

Wasnt fooled by Obama the first time around and since Id like to see the USA not become a complete Marxist, Socialist, Communist, MUSLIM Country, Im voting for Mitt. How anyone who loves his country could look at Obamas record, policies, actions and demeanor along with his lies and the people he surrounds himself with and vote for him is beyond me. Course a lot of people dont look, think or analyse.

Since he hasnt come up with anything in the past 4 years, Im going to be interested in what he has to say at the convention. Yes, I do listen to both sides. At this point though I dont think he could lead Michelle TO a buffet.

BTW, you have to get elected first to lead.

Here's what I liked that has happened under Obama: ended our Iraq combat mission, kept out of direct conflict with Iran, the ACA (yes I like what the ACA contains: pre-existing conditions covered, insurance must spend $$ on coverage not administrative costs, everyone pays, it's projected to cost less than the cost of doing nothing over 10 years etc - it's not a perfect health care law but at least it is SOMETHING), ordered Bin Laden dead when we found him, Don't Ask Don't Tell, successfully tried terrorists in courts of law, kept us from spiraling into a bottomless financial pit that we were headed for under Bush with two wars and tax cuts galore and finance industry crash (we are not out of the woods yet but we sure could be a lot lot worse off), and finally: i think Democrat initiatives to rebuild infrastructure, R&D green tech, financial regulation are what leads to middle class prosperity long term, not cut cut cut slash slash slash that is all the GOP can put out there.

But I guess I don't love this country ;)

P.S. The above post is me at my political optimistic. It is a constant battle between that opinion vs the one that says this is all a fucking joke and the real problem is not a Democrat or Republican one, that's a sham fight to distract you from the real issue: government got too damn big, and dismantling it is a scary prospect.

This is what the problem is.
No one is going to elect the guy/gal who tells us that we've really screwed our political system up and we need to start from scratch redoing everything which will create a lot of upheaval and turmoil

I don't believe Romney is the answer but he has my vote......Obama has proven he isn't the answer nor the great uniter he claimed he would be. He made a hell of a lot of empty promises to get elected and I expect nothing different this time.

I agree with Hill on our government.

Obama isn't the answer and sure isn't for the next 4 yrs. Is it just me? Or will people really be persuaded to go with Obama on Clinton's support?

I'm with Mikey. Obama made some promises and I knew he couldn't keep them. However, I'm totally disappointed in him. More now than when America elected him. Even though McCain probably wasn't the answer either at the time. I'm with Hill. I would have hated all the drama Palin would have brought to the Whitehouse. 'Course in my opinion Biden is a joke. :teehee:

I wish that we didn't have career politicians that care only about themselves and the hell with everybody else. I might be wrong in my opinion but I feel the the President is nothing but a figure head and is only allowed to do what the House and congress let him do...

And here we go about congress. We need to be looking at those representatives we vote for. I wish we could wipe those folks out(Congress). Atleast some of them. Then go for that hope and change.
